Is there any hope for Tax Audit Extension beyond 31st of October?

To my knowledge and information, there is no hope for any further extension for the Tax Audit. Anyways, looking at the concerns of the public at large, if extension comes, we shall not get surprised as we as well as Govt. are accustomed to extension of due dates for every deadline.
