    • Unit certificates may be listed on stock exchanges, subject to certain conditions. The listing of unit certificates on stock exchanges is regulated by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and the stock exchange where the unit certificates are proposed to be listed.

For a unit certificate to be listed on a stock exchange, the following conditions must be fulfilled:

      1. The unit certificates must be issued by a mutual fund or other eligible entity in accordance with the SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996 or the relevant guidelines issued by SEBI.

      2. The mutual fund or other eligible entity must have obtained approval from SEBI for listing the unit certificates on the stock exchange.

      3. The stock exchange where the unit certificates are proposed to be listed must also have given its approval for the listing.

      4. The unit certificates must comply with the listing requirements and other regulations of the stock exchange where they are proposed to be listed.

If these conditions are fulfilled, then the unit certificates may be listed and traded on the stock exchange like other securities.
