As per second proviso to section 128(1), companies may keep books of
accounts in electronic form whereas rule 3 of the Companies (Accounts) Rules, 2014 requires companies to maintain books of accounts compulsorily in electronic form. Needs clarity.

Dear All,
I am finding the new MCA e Book very confusing. Earlier it was simple and convenient. Now I am unable to move freely from Acts to Rules and it is very difficult to find notifications and circulars. It also takes a long time to open. And when I enter notification and circular or amendment criteria, it shows no results found.
The earlier eBook was the best thing on MCA website. I don't know why they changed it.

Please confirm whether any format is prescribed for taking consent of booking holder by the concerned department.
Kindly help me in getting format for taking consent of 2/3rd booking holders (required in case of change in approved layout plan)
our company has shifted registered office and after filing form inc-22 new address is appearing in master data. But 'Address other than R/o where all or any books of account and papers are maintained' is showing the old address. This address can be changed only if we file form AOC-5.
But in our case both places are same.
Can we request MCA to delete that address as we do not require this column anymore now.
