Dear sir
1. Our company has invested in the ccd debentures of another private company , term of issue is debentures may be converted at the discretion of the holder 10 years from allotment
doubt: Whether after 10 years whether it automatically convert and is it mandatory to convert into equity or can get back the amount invested.
2. Our company has invested in the optionally convertible debentures of another private company , term of issue is debentures may be converted at the discretion of the holder for a fresh term of 10 years from allotment
Doubt: meaning of fresh 10 years from allotment and procedure to convert CCD to equity shares . Whether the issuer may repay the investment amount to the debenture holder before the tenure.
