Section 9 of the Trade Marks Act, 1999 provides for absolute grounds for refusal of registration
Section 9 (1) (b) of the Trade Marks Act, 1999 provides that the Trade Marks which consist exclusively of marks or indications which may serve in trade to designate the Geographical origin of the goods falls under absolute grounds for refusal of registration.
What is the meaning of geographical origin here, please give a suitable example.
