Annual General Meetings shall be held either at the registered office of the company or at some other place within the city, town or village in which the registered office of the company is situated, whereas other General Meetings may be held at any place within India. Thus, the AGM cannot be held outside India.
Shareholders are supposed to come India for the AGM and in the F.Y 2020, 2021 along with 2022 there is some exemption and provided facility of VC to condict the AGM.
