    Stamp duty on shareholder agreement and share certificate

    My replies in line are as follows:

    1. Can anyone tell me whether there is any stamp duty on shareholder agreement in Maharashtra? - Yes you need to enter it on a stamp paper of ?100/- & notarise it.
    2. In case of incorporation, if stamp duty of subscribed shares is more than Rs. 5,000/-, only E-SBTR is sufficient? or share certificate is required to be franked? (in Maharashtra) - Yes on share certificates, the same has to be franked via E-SBTR if it's more than ?5,000/-
