Can a person whose shares, unclaimed dividend, etc. has been transferred to the Fund, claim the shares or apply for refund ?
Whether the underlying shares of unpaid or unclaimed dividends are required to be transferred to IEPF when the amount of unpaid or unclaimed dividend is being transferred?
As per the first proviso of rule 6(1) of the Investor Education and
Protection Fund Authority (Accounting, Audit, Transfer, and Refund)
Rules, 2016 where the beneficial owner has encashed any dividend
warrants during the last seven years, his or her shares are not liable
to be transferred to the fund.
In this case, if any shareholder encashes any dividend warrants after the expiry of said seven years, would his shares be liable to be transferred to IEPF or not?
How can a shareholder whose shares have been transferred to IEPF
claim back his shares?
Can anyone share the procedure, what steps is to be taken post shares and dividend is transferred to IEPF Account.
what are the requirements
1) if shares of Pvt Ltd. transferred from resident to Non Resident us Citizen pain in INR

One of my clients is holding shares in a private company as an individual and in capacity of HUF (Members of HUF are Karta and his wife and two minor children.).
Now he wants to transfer his shares through a gift to his father, who is also a shareholder of the said private company.
So as of now, he has transferred his shares to his father as a gift as an individual, but now my question is:
1) if he will be transferred shares of HUF to his father then it's taxable or not?
2) if Yes, then who will be liable to tax donor or Donee?
3) if we don't want to pay tax then how can he transfer his shares of HUF to his father?
4) if Transfer of shares done through Son's HUF to Fater's HUF then it's Taxable?
