Hi everyone,
I’m new to using compliance calendar software for managing deadlines, and I’ve come across some confusion regarding how to integrate it with tax filing deadlines.
I understand that compliance calendars help track important filing dates, but I’m specifically interested in how the software accounts for variations in tax filing dates, such as extensions or changes made by the IRS (like those for COVID-19 relief).
Do compliance calendar tools automatically adjust for these changes, or do I need to manually update the deadlines in the system? Additionally, how does the calendar handle multi-state tax filings, especially when different states have different due dates or rules around extensions?

Any insights or tips from those experienced with using compliance calendars in a tax compliance context would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Hello everyone,
I hope you're doing well. I have a question regarding the handling of holiday pay for employees who are on long-term sick leave.
According to our company policy, employees continue to accrue holiday entitlement while on sick leave, but we are unsure how to handle the payment for these days when they eventually return. Should we pay out the accumulated holiday pay as a lump sum upon their return, or can it be used towards future leave days?
I’m particularly interested in hearing from those who have dealt with similar situations in their compliance practices, and what specific regulations or guidelines you follow in such cases.

Thank you in advance for your insights!

A private company is not required to appoint an independent director,
whereas Section 135(1) states that the CSR Committee should have at least
one independent director. Do private companies need to appoint an
independent director to comply with this section?
Rule 15 Contract or Arrangement With a Related Party states :-
(b) is for appointment to any office or place of profit in the company, its subsidiary company or associate company at a monthly remmuneration exceeding two and a half lakh rupees as mentioned in clause (f) of sub-section (1) of section 188.
Anything apart from remuneration to director will fall under place of profit.
Please confirm it is mandatory -
(1) Is outgoing Director required to file DIR-11 ? or DIR-12 will be enough for the same ?
(2) what is proof of attachment in DIR-11 ( if send by email or hand to hand handover resignation )
We have to compulsorily round off the Figures in your financial statements.

Also, with the amendment in section 29 of the Companies Act, 2013 Date. 31.07.2019, the word "PUBLIC" has been omitted. Hence, Private Limited Companies may be required to get ISIN as well. Please clear when its mandatory to get ISIN for Private Companies and if yes then PAS-6 is also need to file ?
